Wie zich bezig houdt met 1:1-onderwijs (een leerling, een laptop) mag zijn agenda trekken, want van 29 tot en met 31 oktober 2010 organiseert de American School of The Hague (ASH) het European Laptop Institute.

If you are planning, investigating or participating in a 1:1 laptop program, this Conference will provide tools to support, build and make your program successful. Learn from colleagues about launching a program, classroom management, parent communications, professional development, best practices, avoiding pitfalls, and embracing innovative technologies to enhance your program,

The Conference is designed to share ideas and strategies that enhance learning in a one-to-one environment. We invite educators, administrators and others to present their experiences and ideas through seminars, hands-on workshops and discussions.

Klinkt goed, 3 dagen lang onderzoeken hoe mobiele oplossingen kunnen bijdragen aan de toekomst van het onderwijs. Deelname kost €200 en dat is eindelijk eens redelijk betaalbaar, zeker als je in acht neemt dat het een 3 -daagse is.Ook voor de keynotesprekers is het de moeite om te gaan: Gary Stager, John Davitt en Tim Rylands staan garant voor inspirerende en vermakelijke verhalen.

Zelf een bijdrage leveren is ook nog mogelijk. De call for workshop proposals is nog open tot 30 mei aanstaande.
