Twitter en Wikipedia als wezenlijk onderdeel van het onderwijsprogramma, dat is wat men in Engeland van plan is te gaan doen aldus The Guardian. Leuk en aardig natuurlijk maar veel belangrijker is het feit dat deze voorstellen voortkomen uit een wens een veel minder dichtgetimmerd curriculum te hebben. Het framework dat onder de GCSE ligt is behoorlijk dichtgetimmerd. En dat maakt het moeilijk om vanuit de het onderwijs écht inhoudelijk te innoveren. Een herkenbaar probleem want in Nederland is de situatie niet veel beter. In de UK lijkt daar nu dus verandering in te gaan komen:
